in 1853. Was reprinted in 1973 by Dover Publications. There is conflicting information. There are multiple photos. One says it was built by Ira Jones in 1856.. The other says it was built in the late 1840's by Wm Peaslee brother-in-law of Capt. John W. Gunninson. Peaselee was the original name for Park Street and Gunnison Avenue is nearby.
