Leonard Street

City Assesssor's   1936

In the upper left photo you can really see the separation between the theater and the front office strip which is 29 feet wide. . As you go into the front door you pass through the lobby into the theater proper which is 71 feet wide but you must turn to the right to face the stage. I only went to this theater once to see Babes in Toyland with Annette Funicello. It was awful boring. I liked the theater better.

The realtor cards dated 1982/83 state - Old Civic Theater (news to me but there's the proof below in a photo of it's neighbor dated 1972).  Auditorium, lobby and projection level set up for video/photography business. Auditorium seats removed, floor leveled to stage height,

Silver Cloud

City Assessor's

I was raised Dutch Reform. I was NEVER inside this bar. But I sure did love the outside. It was built in 1910 and the marble front was added but it doesn't say when. I really like that marble front.
