Destruction of homes, ethnic neighborhoods and a life style

route of US131, I-96 and I-196 through central Grand Rapids

This is not a precise or legal anything but a "what used to be here" approach. Just started so only  the rough outline. I intend to refine it. 

Many of these homes were moved to empty lots. There was a record of each house moved giving the new address written on blue index cards in the Inspection Services Office. I personally sent these cards to the City Archives but the archivist says he does not have them.
