Bridge Street and Lake Michigan Drive

The white and green house on the corner matched the white and green service station on the opposite corner. I was very disappointed when the service station was torn down. I was even more surprised to discover the same person owned all three.

West of the freeway, on the south side of the street, just before Covell are a series of houses in an unusual style. I always thought of them as post WWI California style.
