Aberdeen Street School

The deeds dated 1925 that are filed under Aberdeen by the Board of Education are unclear. It is located on land that was owned by Elmer Blickley and Christian Schaake as indicated by an Abstract of Title and as shown on the 1907 Ogle.  The abstract also shows a past owner as William Ackerson, deceased (died 1874), who was the father of Mrs. Mary Knapp  Apparently this purchase by the Board of Education replaced the the township Knapp School.
