This house had very unusual shutters and I was dismayed when it was remodeled and they were removed. They really made this house special. I was surprised that these special shutters were not original with the house. The c. 1951 sheet shows this as a double house, average wood frame construction, lap siding, plain trim, composition shingles, stone foundation, full Michigan basement with a cement floor, hot air, oil burner crossed out then gas burner, flower, 2 baths, 4 rooms on the first floor, 3 rooms on the second. Year built 1880. 2 stall garage built 1955.CA
