to that plat of a subdivision of said City, known as Kendall’s Second Addition,
being a strip of ground upon, off from and along the north side of lot 19, block
16 2 ½ feet in width, front and rear, said premised fronting on Barclay Street
and extending east to rear of lot. CE

This was the fire barn near my home at 217 Crescent St NE. It
abutted an alley on the East and on the North.
The alley to the north separated it from Coat and Apron, a commercial laundry
where my neighbor John Ellison worked.
The alley on the East was Claremont and had houses on it.
There are no City Assessor's property cards still available for
this site.
