No. 11 was erected in 1902 at the corner of Diamond Avenue and Chester Street. It is in among houses far away from any commercial places of business which is somewhat unusual. It is still there and operational (2009)

The last remaining "old-fashion" active fire barn. City of Grand Rapids - Chester Street Fire Station

Need to get Assessor's records

"remains unchanged; a few renovations were made -- new windows, new apparatus doors and a generator. The majority of the station remains the same as it was in 1902, this being evident by the worn treads on the stairs after nearly 100 years of service" 150 years It even has the "secret" door where one of the lockers is really an entrance to the hay loft. Each of this stations was built with a dorm over the area for the engines and a hay loft over the area for the horses. One entrance, such as those facing Chester Street was for the engines. The other door facing Diamond was for the horses. It took 12  minutes to harness the horses.
