Mr. H Wheeler took out Permit #4415 on Aug 21, 1921 to build a frame garage worth $300.  On Apr 16, 1926 he took out a permit to build a bay window at the front worth $50.  On Aug 28, 1944 he converted his furnace from coal to gas.

Mrs. Wheeler, a sweet little old lady with white hair  would often sit on her porch and I'd go join her.  I never went into the house. 

Mrs. Wheeler, a widow, died in 1960 at St. Mary's Hospital. and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery. She was survived by two nieces.  She attended St. Alphonses.
